The Chicago Reader 50ish UnGala Celebration in photos

On November 30, 2022 the Reader threw a party at and presented by the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago celebrating the Reader’s fifty-ish anniversary—and the very best of Chicago arts and entertainment. The UnGala was attended by more than 1,200 guests, including current and past Reader staff, board members, contributors, advertisers, and loyal Reader fans. Sponsors included the MCA, Half Acre, Koval, Epic Popcorn, Cann, The Morton Group LLC, The Darrell R. Windle Charitable Fund & Polo Inn, and a variety of local businesses, groups, and individuals. The event raised over $110,000, with proceeds benefiting the Reader.
